[for cat lovers]

hows my burning coming along?

[also how does one get to put a thumbnail that can enlarge?]

when you are writing a message right on top of that message box there are 5 small icons: B, I, FULL size picture link, WEB LINK, THUMBNAIL LINK... You have to go to the last one and enter the number of your photo in dpc, you can go to your portfolio and click on the picture and when your picture is displayed in the browser look at the adress line and the last numbers are its numbers that you need to pot in there..
hope it helps.. sorry for my half ass english

In order to post a thumbnail the original image has to be on DPC. Alternatively, if the image isn't too large you can post it as a full size pic.

Simply click the little pic icon (third one along) in the 'Post Reply' window above the typing area and then paste in the full URL of the actual image. (This means you'll have to open the image itself in a new window to get the URL)

In the meantime here's my 'kat macro!

Love it!!! Those eyes are hypnotic, as is the expression. My "favorite cat" one has a little softer tone:

You can post thumbnails linked to other sites so long as they allow photo sharing......have a look at this tutorial

Some great cat pics.......Sadie's just gorgeous Ann - how old is she?

I took a guess at what the filename of the fullsize pic was and created a clickable thumbnail for you. To get this use the second to last icon, enter the link to the full sized image and when asked for the TEXT enter the link to the thumbnail with [img][/img] tags around it.

I've always been happy with the amount of detail in the larger version of this pic :)

Thanks Sue. I wasn't sure how to do a thumbnail so I just did an inline shot. I'll do a thumb next time. Sadie is about 10 I think. She belongs to my brother and his family. He used to own a foreign car repair business and he found her on the wheel well of one of the cars he was repairing. She was a stray so they took her in and she has been in their family ever since. She's quite a character. Ann
