I havent gotten a chance to really use it, but I was fiddling around with it and my god it focuses so quick! At least a lot faster than my kit lens.

WOOO.

Next week, my 28-135mm IS USM will be here!

I got my 1.8 yesterday. I've been wandering around in shock, shooting everything in sight. What a lens for the money! I may never put the kit lens on again!@

Congrats on the new lens :) My first addition was the 75-300 IS USM, my second was the 28-135 IS USM and I think your going to love it! Am looking for a fast lens so I can take decent pics of my fish - I may just be watching your profiles :)

hmmm i paid 100 dollars for the Rebel EOS XS film camera and it came with the EF 50mm f/1.8 II lens. lucky me

LOL, eat? Why do you need to eat when you can shoot photos with available light with no flash? :D
