It is amazing though that with almost the entire media engine stacked against them that republicans ever win...

Dang it! I thought I'd be the first to propose that Bush probably has a plan for postponing the election and to declare martial law, assuming al Qaeda comes through with the predicted pre-election attack.
But noooooo ... CBS Radio (at least!) has outed the story already ...
Now, of course I realize that this (and every administration) has contingency plans covering almost every eventuality, so I guess I mean that this may well be the first administration seriously considering the implementation of such a plan ... I suppose we'll have to wait for the October poll numbers to know how much weight to give this latest threat to our democracy.
Sorry if this is the wrong Rant ... I skimmed along until I came to something about voting in the upcoming election ... :) |
