This was my June Free Study photo...I missed the dead line, don't laugh, but I thought there was 31 days this month...Heck for the last few days I thought it was Friday...My sinuses are acting up and the sinus meds I'm taking make me loopy....oh well, enjoy it anyways if so. comments always welcome..

A bit dark. Some curves and levels would improve the shot unless my monitor needs adjusting. |

30 days has September
April, June and November
All the rest have 31
Excepting February, which has 28, 29 each leap year.
I couldn't resist....

The skin tones seem a little darker than what one normally expects, but overall I dont think the shot is too dark. It just has that very dark black and white tone look.

BTW...that is a pretty cool shot. Anyone we would know?

hmmm, you are right..I didn't see that...checked it in PS..looked lighter...perhaps the web made it look darker....but looks fine off line in PS. Maybe I'll fix it later..thanks. |

I don't think its necessarily dark overall, but the whites don't seem very white. In that sense, I agree that it's a bit dark. Without some brightness to the whites giving it some pop, it leaves it a bit flat. Other than that, its a pretty good shot. |

hmmm, I tried to make some adjustments as said above also, saved it differently than i had before....i uploaded it and still looks to dark and too, the white look to bright....I don't know...computers suck sometimes... |

As suggested in other threads, it may help to convert to the sRGB profile before doing a save for web.
Are you using Photoshop or something else?

i'm useing PS CS...Man, I think I know what the problem is....of course converting to sRGB will help...crap....I think that's what i forgot to do in saveing it as well...I just need to go to bed and get over some sinus complications...these meds are makeing loopy and can't think straight....thanks! :) i never had problems before with other b&w's to the web....i should just go and get some rest....BUT, I'm ADDICTTED!!!!! AHHHHH....:0 |
