Yup, only $3,899 to own the 30" screen + video card to drive it...

Yeah, the new G5 I spec'd out with the 30" display only came to 8K / $178 a month... |

But then you will have to sit 4' away from it!
Just finished helping my neighbor build a monster machine: P4 3.4Ghz, 2GB RAM, 2 WD 74G Raptors, Radeon 9800 AGP, Samsung 24" LCD, etc..
Multiple screens in one is something to see (kinda' weird too).

Only 8K? My dream G5 was over 13K, but I held back and compromised a bit :)

LOL- I spent over $9000 for an accelerated Mac IIci and 16" monitor with peripherals way back when. I was the neighborhood big shot with that monster 1GB hard drive and 20Mb of RAM, though. Woohoo!
Now our cameras cost more than our computers. I'm not so sure this is progress. |
