I've always noticed this and was always curious so here's my question:

What does a "view" mean vs. a "vote" - I notice my image (in a current challenge so no one knows which one is my submission yet) has 192 votes and only 102 "views." It would be great to have a small glossary of terms.

Also, when I see that my profile has been "viewed" so many times - does that count every time someone clicks on my profile - so if I look at someone's profile six or seven times it counts as six views or is it just one view (because it's one person) no matter how many times I look at someone's profile.

Just ciours. i looked in the FAQ section and didn't see anything explaining this so thought I'd ask.

Cheers!

The voting stats are new. If your entry is in desat, the new feature was added during the voting, so it is not accurate, it only shows the views since the feature was added.
For your profile, I think it counts each time someone looks at it in a different session. If I go to your profile 5 times while I am logged on right now, it would show as one visit. If I leave the site and come back later and look at your profile, it would count as another view. At least, I think this is how it works. You can try it yourself by looking at different profiles and watching the changes.
