| I'm so pleased with the way my selective desat photo has turned out!!! I wish I could show you guys the ones I decided not to use, but they would give it away!!! It may not score very well, but I just love it. I haven't been this excited about how a picture of mine has turned out in a long time! :o) |

hey, I'll say gongrats already, it doesn't matter about the score you get but if your this up beat about it then its a winner.
btw, checked the date on your cam?
I've already submitted my June pic, I love it but will probs get rubbished for being too simple. Print has been accepted and I'm gonna buy it :)

Fantastic -- it's a great feeling. Much more important than the "score". You know when something is right for you!! Darn, I am dying to see it!!! I won't have any entry, but I learned how to do de-sat -- which is just as good for me.
I am really looking forward to seeing all of yours -- I really like good de-sats a lot. I will have a feast!

I checked the date about 20 times before, during, and after the shoot...not that I'm paranoid about the current date/DQ controversy or anything. ;o)
Good luck with your shots too, guys!! I am sure that this will be a very tough challenge to compete in, being that I'm PS-challenged, but I can't wait to make this shot a print just for me. Thanks!!!! |

Glad to hear it kylie, I did start a thread on that, I'll try to remember to copy the text in future as well. btw, is it possible to submit a challenge entry to someone that isn't voting for an early critique?

I just never found anything really screaming "de-sat me" (I tried one, but it wasn't an interesting shot to begin with). I am in "don't-enter-just-to-enter mode and trying to concentrate on learning some stuff from all of you lately. Oh, and I have had a blast trying out all the fun techniques!
