i entered this ..
would have considered the horse but it had been in instagram so i felt i shouldnt enter it in a challenge here ..
wondering about ppl's preferences .. as in which one do ppl like more .. :)

The detail on the grasshopper is stunning, as it usually is in your insect shots. I like the overall green colour of the image.
Your horse shot is also beautiful. I would consider making the right bottom corner a bit lighter, it draws attention while there is not much to see.
Seeing how high the insect shot usually score, I think you made the right choice (if you are after high scores ;-) )

thankyou for the compliment Willem ..
and your opinion ..
and i have to admit it .. i like to score high .. !! ..
mainly for the exposure .. so any ribbon is wonderful for me .. blue, red or yellow are all great colours ..
coming in the top 5 is also excellent .. as you get on the home page .. also really good ..
having said that .. i do have my own style .. which isnt set in stone .. and learning from other ppl as to what their likes and dislikes are .. and seeing their pics .. is an inspirational thing for me .. and may help me to evolve in my own photography ..
