Maybe too shallow DOF...
Maybe too much sun...
What do you think?

I like the top one much more than the bottom one. The yellow flower is washed out due to the harsh sun, I think. But the top one is lovely. It has much better contrast than the other. Good shots! :o)

Yup, I agree, the top one is the best but the green inside the flower confuses me, and some of the black (top right) doesn't look quite right. Did this have lots of post processing work?

This much like wat I thought myself of the yellow one. I just can't seem to find a way to expose it properly.

Almost no post-processing. A simple saturation layer, saturation at 50, multiply blending mode, opcity at 50%. that's it. It add both contrast and saturation at the same time. I think it works pretty much like a ND filter.
