How does this happen?

I voted on Fog & Mist. On all images presented for voting. The message I see is:
"You have rated 74 of 76 images (97%) in this challenge."

There are 77 entries (including mine). When I physically count the images as arranged by my vote order I count 75 (which again shows mine at the end unranked). This means the 74 number is correct. How is that? There's no DQ's, so what happened to the other 2 entries?

Perhaps. Wouldn't those show on the DQ count (attached stats screen grab in OP)?

That was me being funny. The actual truth is we (or at least I) don't kNOW why this happens but it happens pretty often. Nobody's ever shown me a good explanation for it. It's NOT self-DQs, though. There aren't any on that challenge.
