I have been a member of this site in time to participate in three challenges so far, choices being my third, and I seem to be having problems. On two of my entrys I have been receiving alot of criticism about my photos being too dark. This is my current entry [edited] I spent an hour adjusting the picture and trying to make it look perfect, yet I still receive criticism about it being too dark. My computer is a color synced Mac and Im wondering what every one else sees. Is my picture poorly done an all computers, or just the ones with poor graphics cards? Thanks.

You can't discuss or show a current entry...sorry!
The team sports entry was VERY dark, just about completely dark.

I have the opposite problem with my Mac. The photos are too light when I submit them. I've started over compensating for the problem and then checking the photo once it's been submitted to the challenge. For the PT&A challenge I resubmitted the photo 3 times before I got it where I liked it. I know there must be a way to change it at my end -- but this is a quick fix for now. |

| When you are voting on a photo look at the graduated bar at the bottom of the page. You should be able to see distinct differences in brightness at each end of the scale. If you can't see the slight changes in the whites at one end or the blacks at the other end adjust the brightness and contrast of your monitor until you can. |
