It's okay. Just take a deep cleansing breath.

Hey -- we've all been there at one time or another.
06/07/2004 07:59:20 PM · #5
it may be deep, but will it have Depth of field?

sorry things got you down...

Believe me, if it has anything at all to do with deep depth of field, I'm sorry too! :o)

Hope you cheer up soon and get some more of your beautiful pictures up for us to admire!

Not as sorry as I am... I rushed and kicked out a photo for this contest (DOF) and well, it, well seems to be stiring some controversy...well I guess that's what photos do... but I'm sorry if its not "up to snuff"

FYI: I think its kinda cute... and fits the challenge (although several don't understand it)

Why did you do it?

Thank you all for the support. That's why I love DPC. Good people all around...

There's no juicy drama. Just sillyness at the time of submitting a photo. No biggy.

I just posted this after I got my first comment and realized what I had done. So I thought to appologize. I'll explain after the voting's over.

Thanks again.

Now that the voting is over I can divulge why I'm sorry:

In my recent entry for Deep DOF, I entitled my photo:

Benches...benche...bench...benc...ben...be...b......chuch.

I never realized that such a title (no spaces) would screw up all the webpages when viewing it. My front page was really screwed up too.

For that I'm really sorry. I will modify the title to include a space, as to not mess up the clean lines of the site design.

I won't do that again, I promise.

Edit: ARGH! It would appear that one can no longer change the title of an image. MY DPC WEB PAGES WILL BE SCREWED UP FOREVER! NOTHING FITS ON A PAGE ANYMORE!

Ha - good one. And - about 1/2 of your comments LIKED the title - and about half didn't..(fancy that.)

It is a great pix though. Thanks for the chuckle and the image!

I don't get it - the title didn't do anything weird to my page at all when I viewed the photo. What's the deal?

It has been fixed! Langdon edited the title for me, by adding spaces after each series of ...'s. Thanks!

The original title was: Benches...Benche...Bench...Benc...Ben...Be..B......Church. ALL ONE WORD. So the coding could not put the title on multiple lines, as it does with really long (multiple word) titles. It basically threw all the columns out of whack, because it was really wide.

All fixed now.
