Hi all,
I would just like to apologise to all the people out there that voted on my submission to waiting. It was an illegal photo. Sorry, this was not intentional and a total overexcited oversight on my part. This will not stop me from submitting to future challenges, but it will make me read the rule more closely, and to remember that there is a difference between open and members challenges.
Once again sorry for wasting your time marking my picture. (It was doing ok...)
Cheers guys, keep up the good work.
Kev

Are we allowed to ask which one it was? I miss some when they have "disappeared", even though they have to. I feel bad for you, also, but I am sure you will have many great ones to come!! I get excited at the last minute, too, sometimes, and barely know what I am doing!

God guys, don't feel bad for me (I'll cry...). It was my own fault. I did a bit of spot blurring when i should know fine well i shouldn't. It was a rush job late on Tuesday evening.
Hasn't stopped me taking pictures and visiting the bestest site on the web.

Unfortunately Kev, apologies carry little weight at this site.
It is therefore the judgement of the mighty members before you that you must now be taken to a place of darkness, where you will be stripped of your dignity, issued with a polaroid instant camera and ordered to piece together the words 'I will not spot edit in an open challenge.' by photographing your own lips mouthing each character of the sentence. Finally, the composite statement will then be attached to a flag pole threaded through your trouser leg which you must display for a period of one month during your waking hours.
Enjoy the site. |

Laughing a lot.
I'm up for that.
I think there should be some (humerous) punishment for cheating. Even if you didn't mean it.

Erm, is that not a little lenient for such a terrible and obvious violation of our laws? Surely this should be done for a 2 month period with the flagpole inserted during sleeping hours as well?

We don't get to see the "evil" photo in question???? Or does everyone but me know which it was? Maybe this is not allowed on the site; I don't know all the protcol! Sorry if I am out of line!

Have Ben assign a jester icon to the offending party for a week. In the future, larger icons might even show the flag. ;-) |

I was thinking of the Darth Vader icon actually, as all rule-breakers are pure evil ;-)

Out of the box thinking is great.
Here at this site, we have options. We can try and please a mass of voters whose opinion is rarely predictable, or we can ignore the voters and chase the brown ribbon.
Now, if we cheat and admit it, we get a cool icon.
Hmmmmmm....can we negotiate the week to something along the lines of a month? That way we really compete three weeks per month, and have fun the fourth week...
Just kidding.
Kev: full marks to you for calling your own foul.
Bill
