I only bring it out on special occasions like village burning, gate storming, lynch mobbing, etc. It's been comparatively much quieter in recent years around here and I am really Jonesin' for some torch & pitchfork action. |

It's only an issue for people who vote with their keyboards. If you click on the scale provided under each image your 10's will be recorded correctly ~ see Tanguera's OP. ETA: On re-reading the OP I guess that's not spelled out explicitly , but it IS voting a score of 10 with a keyboard that's the issue.

To elaborate, in your preferences file you can specify exactly what sort of keyboard voting you will use: single-tap, tap-enter, double-tap, alt-tap, cntrl-tap, disable. I think by default it is single tap. But in all cases, since keyboards don't have a "10", "0" is the entry if you want to award a 10. Those who use any form of keyboard entry other than double-tap will register a 1-vote if they try to enter a 10. With double-tap, tapping 1-0 would not enter a vote at all.

For that reason, I'd personally be in favor of disabling all forms of keyboard voting except the double tap (if you want to vote a 7, hit the 7 key twice). |

I vote to get rid of keyboard voting.

Just click on the number you want to select.

It's foolproof with double-tap. The trouble with eliminating keyboard voting is that folks who use laptops and touchpads to vote find point-n-click to be very cumbersome. Trust me. I use keyboard voting when I'm on the road and don't want to set up my mouse. |

Ooooh! So with double-tap keyboard entry we could issue 11s! And 12s! (Yes, yes, just being a pain in the keister....) |

As a form of protest, I won't vote without keyboard voting. Ok, not really a protest, just a matter of convenience. I can't imagine it's that big of an issue. Maybe sort the thumbnail page that shows at the end of voting in reverse order - lowest to highest so voters will see all the 1's they thought were 10's.

...or just disable the 1 for keyboard voting. I'd be ok with that. |

I suggested disabling it just for the keyboard. Voters could still click the 1 on all your entries. :P |
