I'd love some opinions on a photo I took this spring at Walden Pond, the famous spot where Henry David Thoreau lived and wrote. The image doesn't have much to do with the pond's history, but I'd be interested in opinions from all the talented folks here. Trying desperately to get better at the craft of photography and art. :-)

Hey! I'm in the Boston area too. I always forget about Walden Pond - thanks for the reminder to visit it. Amazing what we take for granted in our own back yard.
I see you are relatively new to DPC.. welcome! If we can get a New England get together coordinated and you are interested, email me :)

I can spit to Walden Pond - great place for a midnight swim! and I like your picture even if it makes the pond look mucky. Nicely balanced composition and colors.
