I got in there too - its a VERY new site, with only 3 download so far. But the acceptance time is incredibly quick. I had 9 images accepted within 30 mins of submission.

They lifted those restrictions, I have only uploaded 5 shots and they were all accepted. I had them cropped to 8x10 size. Did they say why your shots were rejected because you have some wonderful stock photography in your portfolio!
And you are right, won't let you sign in today, must be a glitch.

Yes - I tried to log in earlier and hit problems. I bet the extra traffic is causing a little headache.

That kinda brings up an interesting question I had in my head. These days it is quite easy to get a domain name and set yourself a front for anything, like a stock photo agency. What happens if after a week or a month they just disappear? I'm sure a lot of people will just think they couldnt make money and quit, but what if they then took the images that had been uploaded and started selling them offline? It would be likely that no one would know about it, especially if the person is selling the same stock to other agencies. I can understand the older, larger stock agencies, but with a three day stock agency it is always possible. I realise they have to start somewhere and I'm probably being paranoid, but it did make me wonder.

I think you just have to take the gamble, which, like so many other things on the internet, is just that, a gamble. The thing to look for is a sales volume that would indicate they can make more money staying online than disappearing with your images. It only makes sense that they have to build up an inventory but the next step will be to build buyer traffic. I hope they can do it but it seems the lower price places have a head start on them. Their price structure certainly is more attractive to us photographers (one small size sale at CanStock earns you the same as 5 sm sales at iStockphoto). |

Deannda, thanks for the great words...It means a lot coming from you! Thanks...
The reason they where rejected was because of Size...1024 X 768 or 1600 x 1200 they did have good comments on the rejections..hehe They really like the photos but they just where not big enough...I will have to upload bigger images I guess!

I like their zoom feature. Really helps to be able to see some more details. |

I've had 10 pictures up at CanStock for 6 months. I've had ONE download. The same 10 pictures at Istock were up 6 months and I earned almost $25.00 on just those pictures. The same 10 have been up at Shutterstock for 3 months and I've earned about $8.00 on them. Until CSP starts bringing in more for the time spent uploading, I can't recommend this one. :)

I can't say I've had a ton of sales, but they have been going up during the last month or two, and they are working very hard to continue that trend. I'm at half as much money at CSP with roughly the same pictures as Dreamstime, fewer sales at CSP, but on average, more payout per photo. I can't compare iStock since I only just restarted my sales there.

i agree with what a few others have said. they have much less exposure than sites like dreamstime and istock. also their interface needs a little help, i don't much care for the website. that being said i do have pics up there, but i think i've only gotten 1 download last i checked, and i've had stuff up there since july.

not exclusive, but can have the option to tell buyers only being sold there.
I have similar resutls as maverick, all my shots same on canstock and shutterstock, they have all been downloaded several times on shutterstock and no downloads with about 100 shots on canstock. |
