This was my first time today to get out taking photo for hour. Finding the right spot, waiting for the right time and the right light. getting a good composition. It was really fun. I've come up with some good shots. I personnally like them very much and I would really appreciate a few comments on them (even negative one... but don't be too much rude) I plan to make them availlable on DPCPrints and would like to know if they're worth it.

Thanks in advance

Some really nice shots, the sunset shots are something I find very relaxing, especially the last one.. Did you take these with a tripod?

Nick, those are lovely shots. I like the warm colors of the bottom two. You might try cropping the middle one a bit tighter on the right side to get rid of some of the very black edge where there is no detail anyway, and that would create less of a centered look to the sunset (unless centered was what you were going for). The bottom one with the steeple is also nice; I like the boat and the reflection of the light on the water. The top one is pretty but the tree kind of sticking in the middle of the photo is a tad distracting. Again, all of these are my opinions and could be way off. Good job and I'm glad you had so much fun on your outing! :o)

Thanks for the good comment. I tried to crop some of the right side of the 2nd shot but no matter what crop i tried i always liked it better that way, besides, if i'm going for a print i'm gonna need all the pixels i can have to get the bigger print availlable. I myself find the composition somekind of lacking in the first one. I'll try cropping some of the tree and see if that works. Thanks again.
