Whew! I'm tired, and I was only there for the first six hours!

Seriously...experiencing the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life tonight was absolutely awe-inspiring. I have to say that the most moving moment for me was watching the "Survivor Lap" when all the cancer survivors, each wearing purple shirts, walked the track while everyone clapped and cheered for them. It was so emotional.

I'm not used to photographing events like this, so bear with the shots if you care to look. For reference as you view, the purple shirts are survivors, the white t-shirts are supporters/friends, and some of the teams had their own shirts made. Many are in costume (there was a decidedly western theme). Hope you enjoy them...the experience was very moving! :o)

Relay For Life

edit: There are also some shots in there of the decorated bras that were made and auctioned off tonight. Stunning work, and they raised a TON of money!
