There is something I like in this somewhat ugly, mundane picture. It is totally untouched except resized to post easily. Honestly -- anyone like this at all? This is me trying to figure out why I get attached to some of the weird ones. I have others from yesterday I think ae pretty damn cool, but this one confuses me. Thank you!
It would help if I posted the picture (and one other). I'll be back. Tail between my legs.

I believe that this would be helped by a touch more DOF. Your focus IS spot on however! I'm a little distracted by your choice of framing. I believe that a more subtle frame would draw you back into the shot.
I do like the nearly monotone color scheme! It helps to keep you focused and covers up the fact that it's a little busy...
Just my two cents worth :-P

I'm sorry, but the image doesn't do much for me. Perhaps you could try again from a different angle? |

I disagree. I think the bokeh in this image is perfect. I do think a stronger crop is in order...

Kinda of reminds me of the past 8 challenges that I've missed. |

Too funny!!! Meanwhile, I had computer failure. Thank God this isn't for a challenge entry or there would have been blood on the floor by now! Anyway, hopefully I can remeber how to post these things. 8087980879

you just have to hit this then enter the 5 digit number representing your pic in the box that apears. Its that simple. |

No, problem Kylie.....I get the 'ruff' day syndrome myself.
I like the second shot with the water. It could be part of a brochure. Looks inviting, quiet, calm.
What is it that you like about the first shot? [The over-pass]
The sky is an intense blue and the light is very good.
As to mundane photos yes..I have 1000's of them. :) I will sometimes see something that just attracts me, it can't be explained. Some of them are winners some of them aren't. I think that's one of the best things about digital..you can take 300 shots and get one winner. |

I think I was rushing and hitting the wrong button. I've only done it once. Now I'll probably forget by next time! LOL. Thank you!!!!!
