In the context of the challenge, I think I'd have preferred the outtake, which has more of an emphasis on the glass, and less on the overall setting. If the challenge had been "Specialists at Work" then I think the first would be stronger.

I don't think I've done any glassblowing since high school ... someplace in my "stuff" I have a burner which takes both gas and oxygen, intended for working with Pyrex in the lab ... that flame you have there looks pretty ferocious itself!
