I have been obsessed with this shot for some reason, dont ask me why?
But after many attempts at sepia/duotones/b&w, etc... I cant seem to make it look good!
Heres my latest "treatment" if ya will..
Any tips?

I like this photo quite a bit. I think you have done a pretty good job editing it but the blurred background looks odd with what looks like sharp edges. That part looks unnatural to me. The composition and subject matter are great and I really like the use of black and white.

How about colorizing like this?

Quadtones in PS. Saved the settings if ya want em.

I REALLY like dacrazyrn's coloring! The picture is awesome to begin with, but with that tone, it's even better.

I find this to be a great shot! Here are a few things you could possibly try:

1. Dodge the face area; it's very dark up there, and while the body expresses so much, it might be nice to get more of a glimpse of the face.

2. The bright sky is so bright, it gets much of the attention right away; my eye naturally goes up there first--but there's nothing there. Study Heida's work, perhaps, to see how she manages to darken her skies without making them look unnatural.

This is good stuff!
