Natural daylight, coming thru a window, illuminates your subject--without the actual window necessarily being part of the subject.

What editing set do you want to use? And do you mean "without necessarily including the window in your composition"?

yes I do. Kind of. Including the actual window is optional, not required.
Advanced editing almost goes without saying.
