Thank you Mita

These brought out the kid in me :

: Admittedly, somewhat embarrassed that I didn't realize this was part of Dismaland. That said, the little girl is NOT, and she brought it all together. I was floored to see that the hovering bird is part of the artwork as well. Very cool.

: Somewhere between here and heaven.

: raw. sincere. fun.

Thank you Tate. I am sorry you felt embarrassed BUT pleased you appreciate I had some input on the outcome of this photo. Btw I took quite a few photos of the chair and seagulls, some with my kids and some not but it was only this one where the attendant appeared and stood like how she is that really made the scene special in my opinion. However I appreciate the majority of the elements in my photo are part of art exhibit.

I looked it up following Don's comment, and I think the photo can still be judged on its own, as the composition of the kid, attendant and the "page not found" from the nearby piece extend the original piece in a significant way.

Nothing really to do with the way I looked at the image - well, hard to tell - to be debated in aesthetics and criticism class ;P - I had just had heard a bunch about Dismaland and didn't make the connection - the mouse ears should have given it away. I still think the kiddo's presence and perturbed expression put the image over the top for me. I'm also a fan of those pants =)

This also gets my Almost Blue for when I screw up and don't finish picking ribbons in time:

Thanks Don, for, as Abra pointed out, seeing the side in a little bit of front and back.
