For this challenge, enter a photograph that Posthumous won't be able to resist picking for a Posthumous Award.
The Posthumous Awards thread will give you some ideas & inspiration.

How would this be any different than the 'Surreal Still Life' or 'Obscure' challenges that recently came up?
I like Don, but geez, how many weird challenges do we need? |

Wow -
Hard to believe that was almost 5 years ago.
It is quite a paradoxical challenge to vote on, for sure. I do like this sort of challenge though for sure.

Once every 5 years is not too often. After all, Posthumous picks his choices with every challenge. |

I was surprised to see that it's been five years. |

Yes, me too. The Posthumous Awards is one of my favorite things here. There is something to photography besides beautiful landscapes. And it is possible to use the camera to express your personal vision. |

Not denying that Don is worthy of a 'Tribute' ... however, I think this site has veered from just "beautiful landscapes" the past 12-18 months. Not a bad thing at all ... I'm just pointing out that we're (DPChallenge) more than that. Plenty of "photography" going on here ... maybe not enough blurry / heavy textured stuff to satisfy the extreme crowd perhaps (although it seems that we DO have enough of that IMO). |

we will be better for doing this. I am already better just thinking about it. but does that mean Don will have to comment on every entry? shouldn't we ask him if he wants to be thus tributed? |

No, he doesn't have to comment any more often than he usually does. Of course not. He might enjoy more than usual number of possibles to pick from, though. If this idea is a bad one, I apologize. All my intentions were good.
We can re-title it to something like Tribute to De Sousa. And, as is increasingly popular now, leave the description blank.

Are you saying that the PH ribbon winning images are the weird ones? Ha! For me Don is revalatory every challenge. If only we all could see the "weird" in things the way he does. |

If it wasn't for these so called weird images I for one wouldn't hang around here for long.
Don's posthumous contributions to this site shouldn't be underestimated, for me and I'm sure it's the same for many others it's what makes this place bearable. Let's have this challenge. |

I thought it was a splendid Idea, but I also had the idea of support as well like.. Langdon giving him unlimited membership perhaps LOL!
A shout out would be awesome for all the time he has spent on that and it's great to see his perspective and talent of what turns his head and eyes on to photography and it still does to this day, I am loving photography even more each time I check in because it is such a huge wide variety of things. I know it has opened my horizons and broadened my likes as well. It made me realize I can shoot the things I love in different ways other than snapshot kind of things and its fun to see the different perspectives. One of my favorite highlights of DPC and a very high quality it brings to this site.
You are appreciated Don! Thank you for everything you do!
