ROFL.
In any discussion about guns, its only a matter of time before someone brings up the issue of gun supporters tiny manhoods.
We can call it General's law. |

I went to taco bell today and there was a guy that walked in with a pistol in a holster. (open carry) Not a sole blinked... It almost looked like an extension of his body. Made me smile.

I rearranged the sequence here to address things in a rational order.
Originally posted by Luciemac: It wasn't a direct attack on Jeb as his "jerk" comment was on me. Not that I really mind since it says more about him than me. But, from this point on, he's useless to debate with for obvious reasons. |
Sorry, but I stand by my comment. You have continuously impugned good people here whom you do not know with your inflammatory and ignorant comments.
Does it say something about me? Yeah......I was the first to call you out on your insulting, anti-social behavior.
As far as useless to debate.....what debate? You don't debate, you make stupid, incorrect statements which you cannot support, you don't answer any questions directed at you to support your comments, and you offer no proof whatsoever with your outrageous claims.
Originally posted by Luciemac: I said this: "commercial hunting/fishing isn't a sport. It's not done for your entertainment." If I said that ^^^^ somewhere else (which I didn't), I apologize for the typos. |
That's true......it's not a sport. So that makes the collateral damage of everything that's caught in nets that ends up just being chum okay, right?
Oh, and as far as your morality thing goes, answer one simple question for me. Just this one.
Do you know what a calf box is?
Of course, if you really want to go further, do you know what a cattle bolt is?
Or how chickens are raised & processed on really large chicken farms?
Originally posted by Luciemac: Women hunt, too, but the vast majority of men hunt because they've been the "hunters" from the beginning of time. It's built in. |
Women hunt? REALLY????
Hey, there's another of those statements. Are you saying that hunting is instinctual for men? Well, then.......doesn't that sort of negate your fun & tiny penis theory? I mean, if it's instinctual, then the whole testosterone theory doesn't fly. Obviously it doesn't as to women. So.....if hunting is just a sport, then why on earth would women hunt? Certainly not to compensate, right? Of course, the whole instinct/human debate has been going on for centuries now.......or perhaps you have some divine knowledge? Oh wait......*IS* there a God?
Originally posted by Luciemac: It used to be a necessity. Now, it's for fun....not necessity. We get to CHOOSE. |
You get to choose, right? Okay.....I want venison for dinner. Your local grocery store carry it? Do you know any store that does?
How about duck a l'orange....I want that for dinner. Are you saying that if I get a duck that's slaughtered by a poultry farm that it's somehow less immorally killed than if I shoot one by the lake?
Originally posted by Luciemac: So, what makes a man get off on killing another living being rather than say, working at a food bank or teaching kids to swim? Think it has anything to do with testosterone? |
Working at a food bank or teaching kids to swim??? That's the best you can do? Okay......how many food banks do you know that pay? Teaching kids to swim? That's a career???? Nope.......okay volunteer work, but that doesn't put any food on the table.
Originally posted by Luciemac: As far as erections: doesn't that apply to ALL men who hunt for sport? |
Support this statement or STFU.
You obviously have a problem with men. We get that. But being as antagonistic as possible and engaging in being argumentative is no way to get along. What is your point here? You haven't added anything relevant or supportable to the discussion. You just make ignorant comments. Just tell us what this is all about.
Originally posted by Luciemac: Too bad, too, because his photos are awesome! |
I'd really rather you didn't view them. If you showed up at my gf's & my gallery, I would turn you away. I wouldn't want you to just arbitrarily aggravating my friends and customers.

Did the KKK pay millions of dollars to support the civil rights movement?
Come now Mike, I know you're frothing about taking away guns and all, but really?
The analogy is so flawed I don't even know where to start...
I know you're not stupid, but I'm starting to think that you might be willfully ignorant. |

i probably could have found a better analogy, but its all i could come up with. this guy wasn't a conservationist no matter how much money he donated. there should be no correlation between the two, hence my analogy.
and no I'm not frothing about taking guns away, i really dont care. i think society could do just fine with no guns at all but I'm not losing sleep over it. its just another argument we peons keep having while the really rich keep getting really richer. |

And a rebuttal... “Killing in-peril species doesn’t make economic or biological sense in this day and age,” Flocken said. “It certainly was part of conservation history but groups like mine think it should be part of our past. //www.ibtimes.com/cecil-lion-killing-trophy-hunting-popular-among-wealthy-americans-despite-population-2032517 |

Giving Cecil and Days of Luciemac's vs. NikonJeb's Lives a rest for a moment.
Stories like this contribute to the eroding trust in our neighbors. Do you stop to help? Or do you move on because they might have a gun and are desperate? Or do you approach with your own weapon? It's corrosive. |

This is a preposterously misinformed article. Almost all of it is bullshit and presumably intentional sophistry. Just one example:
"Your social media outrage didn’t save the white rhino in South Africa, assholes like Walt Palmer did."
This is simply untrue. It's not even arguable: the facts are public; extensively and irreproachably documented. The white rhino was 'saved' in South Africa almost entirely due to the efforts of the conservationists of the Hluhluwe-Imfolozi game reserve in Kwa-Zulu Natal, and some colleagues in other South African wildlife reserves. And for the even rarer and profoundly endangered black rhino, you can dispense with the quotes: it was literally saved. No trophy hunter played any role, however trifling and indirect, in this accomplishment. |

Cory, as someone who picks up hitchhikers when "strapped"...do you keep your gun trained on your passenger while you're driving and drive with one hand? If not, what do you do if he pulls one on YOU? Do you then pull out yours, too, and shoot each other? Or...how does that work? |

Ubique, thanks for being an adult in the room who actually does homework.
In my experience of baiting hunters and "strappers" (who fall into the trap every time, then paint themselves into corners), almost anyone who's challenged on their hunting activities (of any sort), or have been brainwashed into thinking Obama and/or the gummint is out to get their guns, or are otherwise terrified of losing these valuable symbols of their courage and power (since God, sadly, didn't see fit to give them any at birth like, say, sharks), that someone has the utter gall to insult them and their incredibly dangerous hobby: they'll always come up with some reason for needing more, indicating (indirectly) that they're more important than children's, beasts', or others' lives, no matter what the stats tell them about the dangers.
NOTHING matters more than owning, keeping, carrying, USING that gun. It begins with fear and ends, wwaaayyy down the road, somewhere between ground hogs and rats. ANY excuse will do, as long as it supports their addiction.

I simply cannot believe that you won't even discuss this rationally.
Unless someone says something that you like, no amount of facts, logic, reason, and common sense will keep you from being incorrect, offensive, and just plain clueless.
I give up.......you're just not worth the effort.
