| I'm too lazy to click linkies...is this about those two guys in Wales who took selfies using selfy sticks during a thunderstorm, and got hit by lightning? If so, serves em right IMNHO. The level of self-absorption in today's culture is alarming. |

No, but now I know that it's dangerous to selfie while playing Russian Roulette, for example. |

Speaking of Russians, Mr. Putin is probably not too fond of the selfie phenomenon, what with Russian soldiers posting selfies tagged "Here I am in Ukraine" ... as someone on "Wait Wait Don't Tell Me" remarked, "Is not gun -- is 50-caliber selfie-stick" ... |

| PetaPixel article on the same subject has less intrusive ads and better graphics. |
