Sure does, same one you've always used with PS, but an updated version: Bridge CC. |

Great.
I got the computer, now it's time to hook it up, purchase CC and Nik and see what I can do with it.
I'm coming from CS2. Any tip on the major difference from CS2 to CC? I'm sure there are a ton since my version is ancient but any tools you constantly use that I may not be used to? I will start my YouTube video watching soon. Looks like a lot of late nights are in my future. |

Yes, and you get Lr to boot!!! As I understand (because I came from using Elements) it's a huge improvement from Cs2 to PsCC...you will be able to do many nice little tricks...ck out the Sharpen>Camera Shake....amazing stuff!!! ETA: Mind you that's an extreme example for Camera Shake...but think what it can do for the simple stuff!!!

OK, so I have gone from Windows XP to Whatever this new versions of Windows is and OMG is it a difference. I feel like an idiot trying to navigate this thing. I have it on my Surface and it seems to fit a tablet better. This will take some getting used to. |

Yeah man, as far as Photoshop CC goes, you can also download Lightroom with it... From the little I have used it, it seems fantastic for RAW conversion...
Congrats on updating to CC by the way |

It's downloading now.
Then I'm going to get Nik software and take my work from mediocre to pre-amateur. :) |

It's a RAW editor and organizer... I haven't really had too much experience with it, having just downloaded it a few weeks ago, but so far I really like it |

OH, I love it....it's where I always start. It's a good catalog feature (it was designed for photographers vs graphic designers). The Spot Healer is superb and much better than anything else I have. I do all my RAW editing in here then move over to PsCC and do all my Nik applications, downsize n save....
You'll be like a kid in a candy store...only "digital"...lol |

A little late to the party, but Lightroom essentially combines the functions of Bridge and Camera RAW into a single interface. IMO it improves on the organizational aspects of Bridge and tacks on what I believe to be a more workflow oriented arrangement of ACR. It adds to that some great tools to facilitate your workflow, printing and uploading to various sites on the web.
If you're used to Bridge it might seem like it's "not as good" (something I hear from a lot of people using it for the first time), but I urge you to give it a real shot first. It's worth the time investing in it to learn it. I learned it thru the Scott Kelby / Matt Kloskowski book, and while I've basically resigned myself to the fact that Kelby Training has become a commercial shill for Adobe and other places, Matt Kloskowski is now with onOne Software and is more the Lightroom guru, and his training videos for LR are really good as well. |
