Very nice. I love that quote, and the photo is a great complement to it. I like the stark b/w effect -- I think it's much more effective than a color version would be. Although... with a pair of red heels, you might have something lovely. :)

Nice composition with that message. Ya know, that might be a whole study to take up sometime. Maybe something like more daring fashion shots with that quote applied at points of interest in each frame. Hmmm.

Before long, Amanda, your feet are going to be your trademark! :o)

I loved your new type of self portrait, and this one is really wonderful as well! I know a lot of people hate the selective colorization technique (or whatever it's called) but I thought when I saw this shot, "Wonder how it would look if the toenail polish was red..." Just a thought. You know bad girls wear red. :o) LOL

Funny you should mention it Laurie, that's exactly how it was originally. Like it better?

Hey - I like the red one better too, but do I still see "AM" on the bottoms?

Heehee, actually, yes. I took this one hours later while I was still inspired. Couldn't use it for the challenge because I took it in a place I'd taken photos before!

I Like it. I do have one nitpick though. Since the subject of the photo revolves around the writing on the foot, I think it's probably better to not have the "y" in history cut off by the strap of the shoe. But, I really like the picture, very cool!

I wrote it with the shoe on, but it shifted slightly when I stepped down on it- I agree, it bugs me too!
