I have lost round one (congrats to crik. Am I out? I can't quite figure it out in the brackets.

All participants are in through all five challenges. I can't figure out who you're up against either, but you are still in it. Feel free to talk trash to everybody just to cover your bases.

I think you are up against the loser of the chazoe grahamgator battle. But you're definitely still in it!

Thanks, markwiley, it was a close one by a margin of 0.2453. Good luck in your next round.

I think I'm up against nam in Green Abstract.

Looks like vlado is updating the spreadsheet now. I'm up against glad2badad in abstract green... bring it on gladdie!!!

Indeed I was, and Rd 2 match-up are now finalised. Here is the updated bracket for DPC May Madness.

Note: of the 64 entries in Billy Joel, 29 were DPC May Madness participants... only 3 DPCMMers providing a walk-over for their opponents.

Unluckiest loser for Rd 1 has to go to MeMex2, who despite finishing 6th in the challenge, lost to Ja-9 who finished 5th. Runner-up in unluckiest loser, DCrest01 whose 8th was not good enough against marnet's 3rd. Luckiest winner goes to sfalice who stays in contention for the cup despite her low ranking.

No... EVERYONE remains in the competition, just the prize changes for those who lost... playing for "THE VASE" now (not "the cup").

SIX... grahamgator finished 2nd and P-A-U-L finished 9th. :)

Just the luck of the draw. You were the 3rd best Rd 1 loser, so are pitted against the 3 worst Rd 1 loser (i.e. highest ranked defaulter from Rd 1). Nobody hates you... you didn't piss anyone off. As Ned Kelly once said, "Such is life".

Hmm sorry I can't tell you a lie. However I seem to be going through a bad stage so you have nothing to worry about if you have entered anything half decent
