A landscape doesn't have to be dramatic to be memorable. Meadows, fields, streams, rivers, lakes, oceans, mountains, deserts... we all have landscapes around us. Show us yours!

Hate landscapes. Tired of the lot of you! I've offered over a 100 comments on the past three challenges, and .... crickets.... Yes, yes, I should enter BETTER DAMN PICTURES if I want comments. I know that! But it's still frustrating.

So since the majority of folks actually do like landscapes, PLEASE take time to leave a comment or six or sixteen! You know you like to get them, so do your fellow competitors a favor and leave a few of your own. And here's the real challenge - comment on the first 10 you get in voting, regardless. Don't skip ones you can't think of anything to say - stay with it until you DO think of something to say. After the first 10, then comment on any that strike your fancy.

But you're on your own. I didn't enter. I ain't votin'.

But I don't want to comment.

Sorry Melethia et al, but until Langdon finally implements that simple tick-system option that I (and lots of others) have been begging for, for so many years, I just don't feel like putting up with the &&*%^ that too often comes with comments. Too many people ONLY want glowing over-the-top praise, but nothing else.

I know that GeneralE tells me each time that I shouldn't care, and that I should report abusive emails, but I just don't feel like going through all this nonsense. I also know that I am NOT the only person who feels that way, so please stop telling me about the band-aid solution, and help us fix this simple little problem once and for all.

It would be soooo simple to get people to tick if they do - or don't - or don't want comments (good and/or bad).

I do NOT want to put up with the heartache, end of story, ok, GeneralE, so please don't tell me to put on my big girl panties and just comment.

If you want comments, until Langdon gets his bee-hind into gear, it will have to be via a forum thread that clearly states that you will NOT attack anyone who has anything negative to say.

I have left over 40,000 comments in the decades I've been here. I have never received an evil, mean or heartless message about any of 'em, good or bad. And I DO leave "bad" (ie I didn't like this one) comments. I'm sorry to hear that people do still receive negative feedback on their feedback - that's sad.

Accepted your first 10 challenge and commented on them as DPC forced them in front of my face. :)

I prefixed these as "First 10 commenting: " to differentiate from any other comments I choose to give.
