  jomari I liked the pop of color and creative scene.
  MadMan2k I liked the main fish subject and thought the whole scene was interesting.
 PaulG13 I liked the pattern and great focus on a central fish. |

I liked that one also, but didn't understand the impact that shutter speed had on it (fast or slow). ??? |

Capturing them in an open environment, stationary, with no motion blur, both looking at the camera. It wouldn't be the same image if the shutter was open longer causing a flicker in an ear, or a turning head. Seeing them may not be as uncommon as seeing a drop of water "frozen in time, hovering above a glass", but the impact of the shutter speed is a clean picture of something beautiful. |

Do I sense a theme in all these? I loved the muted tones, the delicate almost Oriental feel, the quietness, the semi-abstraction and/or minimalism.
