Guess what I just went out and photographed air, yes!! Fancy that and it's everywhere, so there will be NO DNMC in this challenge.

You can't photograph a clamp either. You can only photograph the effects that a clamp has on its environment. Most obviously, you can photograph the light bouncing off of the clamp... and then "clamp" might be one of the first ten things Lydia thinks of when she looks at the photo, so you have met the challenge.
So, the same formula can apply to air:
1. photograph the effects of X or the simulated effects of X.
2. make X one of the first 10 things Lydia thinks of.
And really all you need is 2. 1 is just a helpful hint. |

thanks for the links... but wind is only a subset of "air", or this would have been "Wind V"

and wouldn't you know it... this comes right as the weather warms up enough to stop being able to see your breath when you go outside! |

Hmmm, good challenge right in tornado season. Not sure chasing storms is worth a good picture though. |

If your camera has a remote control you could take a macro shot inside a bell jar and not photograph any air ... |

I just finished a medical procedure that used a vacume bottle, and I was contemplating how to photograph the absence of air. But that isn't the challenge, so I must turn my thoughts to some other creative direction.... |

You wouldn't be the first to submit a puff piece to a major publication. |

Thing about those puff pieces, writing them is a breeze... but ultimately, they still suck. :-P

You should have taken a photo of yourself taking a photo of air!
Sorry, I couldn't resist. |

Air. I've always wondered what it looked like, so I'm looking forward to viewing and voting. |
