2 days to go before my membership is up and I think it is time for a rest from the maddening crowd.
The last year has been a difficult one.
The death of a fellow long time friend and photographer has Hit me badly we were friends, competitors and photographers for close to 40 years, and I miss his wisdom and friendship so much.
I will continue with my commitment to the PSNZ Print circle as with this I am not tied to subjects,time and dates.
I may enter a an open challenge from time to time.

| I have appreciated your passion, enthusiasm, and participation. You will be missed. I hope you find a positive outlet for your energies and creativity. I am sorry for your loss of someone so close to you, that rattles one's world for sure. I hope you have memories that will eventually bring you peace and comfort. |

| I will miss your photos in challenges and your comments. I took an extended break from DPC, and found my passion for it again. I hope this happens to you too. We will be here waiting when you decided to come back and have more fun with us! |

thanks for all your comments I am humbled by your support. I am sure that sometime down the line I will return, but I need to recharge my batteries.
My Brother in Law is Terminally ill with a lung disease, and the prognosis is bleak, He has months only.so we need to gather around him and my SIL, and support them and the rest of our Whanau as best as we can

| Nick, I am sorry that you have suffered the loss of a friend and that your brother in law is suffering a tough battle. Know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and that we will be here with open arms whenever you decide to come back. I'm swinging my camera to my back so I can send you a hug. |

| Wise move to allow yourself the time and space to be there for your family and, as you say, recharge your batteries. My best wishes to you and yours. |
