His fitness level would be incredible. Apart from the undeniable fact that it would take me 3 days just to climb it, I'd be fine with the harness and lanyard setup until that very tip top bit. He can keep that bit. |

Let's see: 12 inches a step would be 1500 rungs, right? If you averaged 10 seconds a rung, that would be 15,000 seconds, which is 250 minutes. Which is not much more than 4 hours. Should be doable, eh? Jejeje... |

And wouldn't you think they'd have figured out a better way to do this when they built the darn thing? Like maybe they could have it hinged halfway up and swing the arm down to the ground or something?? I mean it's not as if lightbulbs do not burn out.
I didn't even like watching it LOL

I'd counter, "What's WRONG with the way they're doing it?" Built-in ladder, dude who likes to climb tall things, problem solved. Mountain climbers have to make a living too :-) |

I'm usually ok with the climbing up (although nothing of that height), it's the coming down that is the hard part..... |

And I was kind of kidding, Bear. But I really, really hate heights. |

If you go to all the trouble to climb the tower and change the light bulb, you should at least be able to come down like this...
