This topic is giving me fits. I have a feeling I'm going to get a lot of "does not meet the challenge" comments/votes ;) |

completely totally whole heartedly agree with you. i should be getting on with work, but no, i'm thinking constantly about what to take a picture of. is it unusual enough to take a picture of a house or a car and rotate it 180 degrees? i mean, really, what constitutes an unusual viewpoint? I mean, for bats the example i gave would appear, to them, quite normal. so difficult - that's why my favourite one so far is the rust challenge; at least there you had something defined and not open to arty farty intepretation... not being facetious or anything, mind... |

I think this topic is quite subjective. Unusual is a hard thing to come by, since photographers will take a photo from pretty much any angle if they find it pleasing, especially if it makes 'em stand out a little from the rest. So this is going to be a toughie. I can see people complaining that the photographer is taking a picture from a usual angle, but that the object is rotated, or that they just rotated their camera but the actual vantage point is obviously normal, and so on... oh well, we'll see what happens.
I have a feeling this is going to be one where I end up grading how much I like the picture with no real idea how the topic's being met. |

It looks like John is either very short, or has been knocked to his knees a few times. ;)

LOL. Ain't that the truth. Not really "mysogynist" just a sometimes valid point. :) Pits gets a 9 for that pic. |
