Light your subject(s) exclusively with the screen and/or rear LED of a smartphone, tablet, MP3 player, etc.

Expert Editing.

OK! but you need another (s) after smartphone etc.

Are you suggesting using it as a flashlight (i.e., the smartphone is not in the photo), or illumination of the subject while they are using the smartphone? The latter might work; the former would be almost impossible to verify.

Either or.

Not suggesting grounds for DQ for not using it, and most of us have been known to go against the spirit of a challenge plenty of times anyways so I don't see it as a problem.

Just mean it as a chance to expand people's horizons and give them a chance to try something they might not have before.

All the following were lit at least partially with a phone; expert editing would allow us to light different parts of the scene even if the light source shows up in some of the shots, and make a composite.
