I got lucky and got a shot in the new issue of Us Weekly Magazine this week :)
SofÃa Vergara and Joe Manganiello were on the field during pregame at the Steelers playoff game last weekend, and I snapped a bunch of shots of her. I happened to get a good one of her showing off her gigantic engagement ring, which was said to be in the neighborhood of $500,000...
My shot is on Page 46 (bottom left shot in this scan):

To answer the question about how this came about... a friend and fellow sidelines photographer at the Steelers games was kind enough to share his Us Weekly contact person details. My friend has had quite a few shots published there, and has even shot several celebrity weddings ober the years. He got me in touch with the right folks. |
