I carried my camera with me today, finally, but can we please have a new challenge?
Something fun and easy for someone who hasn't been out much lately! It's a beautiful day ...

Well happily there is a new topic. I know nothing about Peter Lik but landscapes are hard in New York City.
I will need to do research and we'll see but this won't be something I can do today:(

Inquiring minds want to know...if I shoot in pano mode on my camera how can I find out how many images it took? Or is pano mode in-camera a DQ?

Oh. You could go to the top of one of those tall buildings & try for a 360 pano. That would be awesome. Not a National Park, though, unless we could count Central Park. If you PP for super-saturated jewel colors, I wouldn't vote you down for it though, out of gratitude for the variety.

I think if it saves only a single RAW file you should be OK -- if there are no other underlying originals you can't send them in. Just one opinion though ...

Bubble gum. That's almost enough to make me quit. Chewing that is.

It's a COLOR too, if that helps :-)

Totally agree with Paul on this: we're not gonna be draconian here :-)

does this apply to iPhone and IPad panos as well? most apps that stitch photos together do not save the individual captures, just the one big composite, and that as a jpg.

thanks for pre-entry feedback here

Just make sure you keep that "original" JPEG file (and its EXIF data) intact and "untouched" by any editing or download/transfer software.

Thanks for the info guys. It might be a good chance to try the 360 app on my iPhone, then.
