The article is titled:
"26 Stunning iPhone Photos Taken by a Pulitzer Prize-Winning Photographer"

https://www.yahoo.com/tech/27-stunning-iphone-photos-taken-c1416002518899.html

I may not have found them all 26 of them to be stunning, but I found the group interesting.

There were a few I liked, but most I don't feel like they should have been included at all. Wouldn't have described any as stunning, and I saw better thought-out work in our last camera phone free study.

In DPC score terms:
The cat on the colorful backdrop - 6
The escalators in taiwin - 7
The crashing waves behind the driftwood - 6, but focus could probably have been set better to include infinity and closer to the driftwood, the details of the wood are the only strength of the photo in my opinion
The airline and sun flare - 6
Yosemite reflection - 8, that's well done and visually attractive
The pony - 7, has a carefree vibe including the taking of the photo and it works

The rest, 5's - not terrible but nothing special photojournalism-wise (other than some are of famous people) or art-wise in my opinion.
But, what do I know.

Some held my attention and some didn't. The type of camera used has little to do with the quality of an image. I agree with Jon about the Yosemite shot.

Let's all buy an iPhone now...... Why the hell do we spend so much money to buy high quality cameras and lenses?

Airline/sun, B&W field with woman, crab, yosemite & pony were good, in my opinion; i'd say that most of the rest would finish in the bottom 5% here in a given challenge.
there's nothing wrong with bottom 5%, but given the "look at this pullitzer prize winner's images", i'd expect to be blown away with each and every shot showcased.

Stunning? Not really.

If I was to vote on all the images the average would be in the low 5's.
