I guess I was gone too long. I can't remember if we are allowed to add a vignette in advanced rules? Anyone?

I do this frequently for Advanced, and it is not an issue.

It's not illegal? Well that makes my method of underexposing and then dodging the center rather silly.

A vignette to either lighten OR darken is legal until you get to the point where you're using it to hide things you can't legally get rid of, then you're looking at a violation of the major elements rule. On a lighter note, they BETTER be legal because I use them on 98.5% of my entries, give-or-take :-)

Isn't it funny, though, that vignetting is one of the major criticisms of "inferior" lenses? So you spend hundreds more on a better lens and then add a vignette while editing.
