Ok, so where did this woodies come from or where would you even get them?

I can not imagine using them unless I had a mini studio set up and special lighting, but I do love seeing them being used in challenges.. they always make me laugh

Search for a "wooden artist model" at craft stores or online. Just did and saw a horse version ... I may need that someday ;-)

ETA: maybe not anytime soon. The horse ones are expensive!!

I'm certain with a few clicks on the internet you could get a Woody.

i mean, there has to be an art supply place that has them for sale somewhere online right? ;)

Most art supply stores carry woodies in a variety sizes. As someone already mentioned, some of them even carry animal woodies.

Amazon has them, too:

Believe it or not I actually purchased mine at Wal-Mart (Devil Store) of all places.

Wow these little wooden toys are EXPENSIVE! Seriously, $10 for one plain little wooden thing?
Some are more than that 75-80$...

I will have to check walmart LOL

I got mine at Hobby Lobby. And... I enjoy the ones in the "wild" too... We don't need a mini studio or lighting.

Plus $5 shipping.

As mentioned, Walmart or almost any store with a reasonable art supply dept should have them from $7 or so. I haven't bought one for awhile, but I bought a small army of them a few years back from dickblick.com

If I order now they might arrive before Woody IV...

Yes, Michaels and Hobby lobby both have them, but they want more than what I wish to pay for them, I guess I am cheap on certain things that are not priority

Shh. Julie, don't say around Art Roflmao that they are not a priority :P

I've spent more on other useless or disposable props. Just sayin.

I've spent more on useless props that have proven to be not so disposable, outside of fire and deep burial somewhere. Just saying.
09/04/2014 09:43:53 PM · #24
Maybe we need a 'sell your useless props' thread and we can garage sale stuff to each other.
