Ok, so where did this woodies come from or where would you even get them?
I can not imagine using them unless I had a mini studio set up and special lighting, but I do love seeing them being used in challenges.. they always make me laugh |

Search for a "wooden artist model" at craft stores or online. Just did and saw a horse version ... I may need that someday ;-)
ETA: maybe not anytime soon. The horse ones are expensive!!

Wow these little wooden toys are EXPENSIVE! Seriously, $10 for one plain little wooden thing?
Some are more than that 75-80$...
I will have to check walmart LOL

I got mine at Hobby Lobby. And... I enjoy the ones in the "wild" too... We don't need a mini studio or lighting.

As mentioned, Walmart or almost any store with a reasonable art supply dept should have them from $7 or so. I haven't bought one for awhile, but I bought a small army of them a few years back from dickblick.com |

Yes, Michaels and Hobby lobby both have them, but they want more than what I wish to pay for them, I guess I am cheap on certain things that are not priority |

I've spent more on other useless or disposable props. Just sayin. |

I've spent more on useless props that have proven to be not so disposable, outside of fire and deep burial somewhere. Just saying. |

Maybe we need a 'sell your useless props' thread and we can garage sale stuff to each other. |
