Blend a famous photo or painting with one of your own photos to make a new scene. (Reference the famous photo or painting in your title, so folks can find it while voting.)

Expert Editing. (of course)

ETA: added "or painting" twice

Yikes, I'd have to really think about that one.

I'm NOT ready for it, but it is a wonderful idea. Well "thunked of", Lydia! I bet I'd like looking at the submissions, as long as they reference the original as you suggested.

Would there be any copyright issues with doing this?

If the photos are not already in the public dommain* or available through a Creative Commons (or other) license you could still use them for educational, critical, or satirical (parody) purposes, but not commercially. Posting/entering here for an evaluation of your editing and creative skills should be OK, but don't post the image at DPC Prints ... ;-)

*hint: check at the Library of Congress for vast collections of public-domain photographs

Now that I see Ken's image (LOL!!), I think the description needs to read "Blend a famous photo or painting with one of your own photos to make a new scene. (Reference the famous photo or painting in your title, so folks can find it while voting.) "

Expert Editing. (of course)
