Hello Fellow DPCers
Has anyone else have been having issues with lightroom very slowly loading for when you import photos?
It takes over 5 minutes just to even see my thumbnails anymore let alone the time it takes to check or uncheck.. I have cleared out my catalogs with photos which seemed to help but it is still slow..
I do upload straight from my SD card.
Suggestions?

| Large libraries will have long load times. It took me awhile to figure this out myself. I have one massive library that contains multiple years worth of photos, but now I'm down to just one library per year. I have a feeling you might shoot more than I do, so perhaps a yearly library will need to be a monthly library for you. |

That seemed to be the solution.. I had over 4k photos in that library, but even the catalog was cleared out LOL!
