Cylinder release on a wheel gun... Probably a Smith. I say S&W because of the little black keyhole that is put on j-frame lightweights.

I'd guess an airweight or an airlight .38 special.

First part's correct. But it's not a .38 Special and I don't *think* it's any form of airweight... Narrow it down some more, Cory. You can do it.

It looks exactly like the cylinder release on a S&W 386 PD .357 magnum, but S&W uses the same release button on many of their revolvers, so it might as well be a 6xx series .44 magnum or, as Cory suggested, an airweight .38

OK, gotcha. It IS the .357 Magnum. You and Cory work out whjo's next. I guess it may as well be you, since he seems to be briefly AWOL.

It looks like a hanger for something that you would hang on a wall, like a small kitchen appliance or hand tool. So, now we have to narrow down what it is that hangs in it?
