I'm off to a rip-roaring start with a 5.
This was a tough challenge to shoot for. It's hard to find a good landscape composition that does not include some sky. At least where I live.

| Interestingly there are quite a few entries with sky/clouds reflected in water... maybe people did not read the complete description of the challenge. |

| I now so wanted to submit the other entry i had chosen earlier but finally decided on the one i entered just because it had more "land" for a landscape challenge; i now see many similar tight-shots that i passed on thinking it won't qualify as a landscape... |

And I'm one of the people who read the instructions and didn't include the sky in my picture. The people with sky in their pictures had better be doing worse than I am!

To me - sky reflecting and a mirror reflection of the sky are completely different. Blue on water is not a mirror reflection of the sky and is completely acceptable in my opinion.
A few very nice photos! I don't think this was an easy one. |

As said before a difficult challenge. It's tough to compose a landscape with no sky. One nice comment, one so-so. |

I think the description had a wrong word used here
"Your amazing Landscape photo shall be totally sky-free. That means NO SKY. Not even a mirror reflection of sky in water."
maybe it should be been "Not even a mirror reflection OR sky in water."
