just bought a Sigma 12-24 aspherical.
I have noticed, when I go down to 15->12mm, there seems to be some slight resistance in the turning of the zoom ring.
This happened with another I was trying out in a shop.
Has anyone experienced this before?

I lent mine to a buddy, so I can't say for sure, but I don't recall resistance on mine. I will check it out when I get it back.

I just tried it on mine and don't really notice anything... there may be a very slight amount of resistance just as it comes to the 12mm mark but i'm not sure of it... I would say no. |

try going fully to 24mm, then come back to 12mm. |
