I try to comment when I can. Work and home have been hectic the last week or two, so I haven't been able to make many. The thing about the blur challenge is that none convey any emotion to me (except maybe a few which have a bit of a joyous feeling). I'm practical and can't appreciate the art in a mess (like this). So I have no idea what to say about any of the entries. The most I can do is vote - I'll save my commenting for the other challenges when things calm down a bit.

Sorry, I just can't get enthused about photos that perfectly meet the challenge titled "Blurry Mess", not even my own.

How arty they might be, I don't feel connected with this kind of photography. I don't take part in the challenge and I don't know how to rate them, therefore I don't vote and I don't comment. Sorry!

Abstract photos will always get fewer comments. They are difficult to comment on, regardless of whether or not they are "bad."

Commented on 12. It was much better the second time around -- wasn't very crazy about them the first time through.

However, I'd love to see what some of them could have done if it wasn't minimal.

Kind of where I am. I have commented on ~~19 - I have at least another 10 in me~~ 33 Don't know whether I can vote or not, though. I'm going on my 4th time through - it does get better . . .

It's refreshing to see the experimentation and fun that is evident in the challenge. Several of the results are excellent. Many more are rife with possibilities for further development and exploration in future work. I've been back through half a dozen times now, and continue to find images whose beauty I overlooked.

You ARE optimistic :) I have three comments for which I'm grateful. Not at all sure what the score range will be in this challenge, but even optimistically I find it hard to hope for more than the 50%ile - and the score I've got going usually gets me about the 20th%ile

A blur shot has to be really amazing for me to love it.

I'm sorry. This is the lowest scoring challenge I've voted on in many years, I think.

BUT... I scored it fairly (according to my preference) and voted on each one.

Gave out:

one 10
three 9s
one 8
and four 7s

The rest were 6 and under.

Blur's just... "not my thing".

I get the feeling that it will be a lower scoring challenge:
These challenges normally end up this way.

But I could be wrong, I've been known to be wrong, before :)
