Ray has PM'd me. He is currently travelling from Canada to the U.S. Hopefully he doesn't have any problems clearing customs. |

Good grief, he hasn't gotten there yet? Mind you, our postal system does not work on weekends and it did have to cross the border so who knows.

*whew* that was close, I was afraid that Lost might learn yet another fruit crop ripened while he was with you and he'd want to come and make booze from it!!! ;-) |

Lost was here when the nurses came to change the dressing on my foot and hook me up to the IV pump. When told that my ailments were due to drinking, partying and a sinful lifestyle, he opted to drink nothing but prune juice.
I sure hope he fully recovered before I put him in the box, otherwise MarkB might be in for a very unpleasant surprise. :O)

Lost arrived yesterday, safe and sound. I think now would be a good time for a "Penguin" challenge. |

He arrived yesterday!!! Good grief, I could have made that journey on horseback in less time.
Glad he finally arrived safe and sound.

You should have tied him a stick and thrown into Lake Ontario. I could have picked him up after he drifted across. |

How is our bird these days?
If you look at the list the people at the beginning aren't even active here anymore. Either this is taking too dang long or something sinister is going on. |

I was looking forward to possibly seeing him in another nine months or so here on the west coast, but now that I know he is killing people..... |

Hell I dont even know where that pesky bird is anyway, he just packed up his kit and his favourite drinking glass and kissed the town goodbye... he could be anywhere at any sleezy joint getting lashed up with the hobo's.. might be nice for an update..
tome was the daddy of the list and was being a very good guardian for our young lost. |

It's sad to see how this has evolved. Those of us who took part in the early days followed the agreed "rules", hosted Lost for a couple of days and sent him more or less within the week so we could keep to the schedule. |

My apologies folks, I received lost and put him up where he wouldn't get lost and forgot about him. I will get him sent along shortly. |

The sad thing is that nobody seems to be taking photos anymore they just send him on. Hopefully we can get all the photos sorted before the final book is put together. |

Well, from Rochester to New York City shouldn't take too long.
Just stick Lost on the New York State Thruway with a little sign.
He'll be on his way in no time flat. |

I know I miss the little guy...he would have loved being here a few weeks ago when the wild grapes made their presence known! I'd've been drowning in Lost-made wine to go along with that marvellous blackberry liquer :-) |

I am actually rather sad that his journey has slowed down to an almost halt ... come on people pull thy finger out and let's get this show back on track please. |

Perhaps this would be going more smoothly if he'd been named Speedy. |

There are still 12 people ahead of me. At this pace, he can accompany me to the SS office when I try to get my first check.

If he's "living" at your house at the time maybe you can claim an extra dependent ...
ETA: I think referring to the "SSA office" might be better in the future ΓΆ€” "SS" can still have some pretty negative connotations ... unless that's what you meant. ;-)
