...Sadly for me, Lost showed up in our neck of the woods while I am in Germany. Maybe I will luck out and get to see him before he leaves.

Ray, you should be fine. Lost hasn't even made it to Ryan yet... you'll get back in time.

I think Lost is enjoying the travel and the journey so much, I know I am really enjoying the pictures and stories

Please dont forget to upload to SugarSync so that when his journey is over I will find a decent charity and hopefully we can raise some funds for some needy kids somewhere.

I'm sure I have said this before but can never be said enough... "THANK YOU EVERYONE for taking time out to do this".

I been watching his travels, looks like the Canadians are treating him well :) Make sure he doesn't put on too much weight, or the courier fees to Africa will skyrocket ;P

Teehee! Glad to see this thread so active! Lost is an active little guy and good at finding new interests, esp when I'm at work or working on the business. And taking pics of him is a nice break from shooting for challenges.

@ Adam...LOL no Dave's not mad, just a little crazy ;-) He was my Master of Puppets for the Heavy Metal challenge awhile ago. That's his 'I'm reluctantly letting you take my pic only cause you're my friend' face. He used to be very into photography and so got him to get this shot of me and Lost:

@ Unca Raymee...never fear, Enlightened hosts Lost next, and RyanW can probably host him after her so he's still here when you get back...

Yes, I bet he'd like skating the canal ... I can't remember what they do with the locks when the canal freezes -- I've only seen it in the Summer ...

Unless I'm mistaken, the Rideau Canal is drained from its usual summertime depth of approx 8-10 ft to half that, if not more. The locks are kept closed in winter; locks are only opened in summertime when boats need to get through. The skateable section of Canal is the stretch between the locks at Carleton U and the ones wayyy downtown by the Chateau Laurier.

Well I just picked up Lost and he had such a great time drinking oops I said I won't post that - hanging out with Snaffles that he didn't want to leave...he sobbed 1/2 way home. I thought I was going to have to turn back! He seems to be settling in now let's hope he has a good week!

Awww, poor Lost...no wonder so little of the blackberry liquer is left! Give him a beer, Trace, he'll be fine ;-)

Now for Lost's last couple days here...knowing that my blackberries are done for the season, I figured that Lost was just killing time wandering around with his little pail. However I forgot all about the gooseberries at the very back of the property: Sorry, Lost, but you don't have enough time left to make gooseberry wine!!

Then off to a small town nearby where we met up with an acquaintance of mine, barrel racer Bronwyn Hart and her horse Chieftain .

One of my original plans for Lost was to have him meet a politician, but that didn't pan out. So we went with the closest thing we could find, the world-famous Rusty the Rodeo Clown!!

And so concludes the Lost at Chateau Snaffles chapter of his tour. Travel well, little guy! *mwah*

Poor ol Lost was sad leaving his moonshine behind. He cried for a little while. I managed to get him laughing with some bad jokes - What do penguins eat for lunch? ...Iceburgers!!! This one got a smile but this next had him asking me to tell it over and over and over...

What do you call a Penguin in the desert....LOST!!!

Lost and I headed out to my favorite spot in Ottawa to see some real Canadian icons and to make some new friends. It was a beautiful evening to be out. He told his joke to the two geese They were doubled over with laughter. Lost then saw a great blue heron flying toward the rainbow and he thought would give flying a try . It's a good thing he got caught in the tree or we might be in emerg right now! After his attempt at flying his new friends had to head home . We stayed and watched the rainbow for a few minutes and then it was time to head home. Lost has a very busy day tomorrow. I think we will be doing some time travelling back to the 1860's.

Where oh where has our little bird gone?

Our little guy is flying to RyanW this week. Lost was stuck with me for a while because RayEthier came back from Germany and is quite sick and Ryan was away on holidays!

I also have to apologize for not keeping you updated but my job has been insanely busy theses days. ( 74 hrs in the last five days alone) I promise I will have it all updated soon.

I think it is amazing that we still have him under control and he has now been travelling over half a year. :)

Thanks for the update, I was worried that he might have got caught in some kind of strange time warp ;-)

Oh wherefore art thou, Lost?

To the best of my knowledge, he's still safely here in the Ottawa Valley, though I'm not sure who's currently hosting him.

Thanks folks, someone else expressed their interest as well. Maybe RyanW has the pleasure. BTW, hope all is fine Ray.
